1 Purpose The purpose of this standard is to specify the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of compost as well as the sampling methodology and the methods of analysis that shall be used to verify these characteristics. 2 Scope This standard applies to compost from different sources used as organic soil conditioners, sold or distributed in bag or in bulk.
