Conditioning and testing — Standard atmospheres — Definitions
Defines three types. They are often required in order to investigate the effect of extreme climatic conditions on test specimens. Such atmospheres often differ greatly from ordinary ambient conditions.
Specifies the characteristics of plain end tubes manufactured from unalloyed and alloyed steels (including austenitic stainless steels). It does not apply to steel tubes intended for exposure to flame. An annex gives metric dimensions which correspond to inch dimensions.
