General Use Power Supplies

This T.I.L. contains construction, marking and test requirements for inverters that receive power from a vehicle battery supply, and convert it to provide 120 V ac or 240 V ac for use in the vehicle. Portable units may receive their input power from a cigarette lighter plug. Permanently installed units may receive their input power from a cigarette lighter plug or directly from the vehicle battery supply.
