Rules for rotating electrical machines for rail and road vehicles
Applies to rotating electrical machines forming part of the equipment of electrically propelled rail and road vehicles.
The vehicles may obtain power either from an external supply or from an internal source.
This edition replaces IEC 48, IEC 101 and IEC 102.
1. This Specification is intended to apply, primarily, to simple-span highway
bridges of 300 feet or less, including thos carrying street cars or freight
cars with locomotives in addition to the regular highway traffic. It may be
