Road vehicles — Working voltages for lights fitted to motor vehicles and to their trailers
Specifies a method for measuring the working voltages present at the contacts of the filament lamps in the lighting and light signalling devices, and at the terminals of the trailer connector socket. Applies to vehicles propelled by internal combustion engines and equipped with lead-acid batteries, as defined in ISO 3833 (motorcycles excluded).
Road vehicles — Frontal fixed barrier collision test method
Specifies a test method which should ensure that results obtained from different test facilities are directly comparable. Includes definitions; describes the impact test facilities, the state of the vehicle, the velocity to be used. The instrumentation will be given in an other ISO publication.
Road vehicles — Mounting of mechanical coupling devices on rear cross members of trucks
Specifies the dimensional requirements for mounting coupling devices (hooks or forks). Applies to those vehicles that are currently used for international commercial transport, to be coupled to trailers the towed weight of which is greater than 3,5 tonnes. Defines the categories of weights 1, 2, and 3. Two figures illustrate shapes and reference quantities of concern.
