Laboratory glassware — Principles of design and construction of volumetric glassware
Reference temperatur, volumetric accuracy, methods of verification and construction are considered. The annexes deal with the limits of volumetric error in relation to capacity and to the diameter at the meniscus. The interrelation between standard deviation, limit of volumetric error, and line thickness is described.
The basis of adjustment, volumetric accuracy and capacity are considered and the series of capacities is given specified with and without bulbs. The limits of volumetric error, the construction and dimensions, delivery time and inscription are defined. The specified details comply with ISO 384.
Liquid-in-glass laboratory thermometers — Principles of design, construction and use
Temperature scales, conditions of immersion, glass, liquid and gas filling, construction, marking and accuracy are specified. Annexes A and B give general recommendation for the calibration and verfification and for the use.
Textiles — Preparation of laboratory test samples and test specimens for chemical testing
Specifies methods of obtaining laboratory test samples of textile materials from laboratory bulk samples taken from a bulk source, and gives general directions for the preparation of test specimens of convenient size for chemical tests. Definitions in relating to bulk source, laboratory bulk sample, laboratory test sample and test specimen are given.
Acoustics — Determination of sound power levels of noise sources — Precision methods for anechoic an...
Specifies two laboratory methods. Gives requirements for the test room as well as the source location, operating conditions and instrumentation. Specifies techniques for obtaining an estimate of the surface sound pressure level from which the weighted sound power level of the source and the sound power level in octave or one-third octave bands may be calculated.
Audio-visual, video and television equipment and systems - Part 10: Audio cassette systems
Lays down requirements for the track configuration on the compact cassette for language laboratory, language trainer, tape-slide synchronization systems or other similar applications. Specifies frequencies and durations of cue tones.
