The size 7 reel descirbed here has a nominal film capacity of 15 m and is generally used for returning the film from the processing laboratory. It is considered to be interchangeable in all models of 8 mm projection cassettes (encapsulated devices) of type S which take up reels with a maximum outside flange diameter of 75 mm. This type of reel also fits normal reel-to-reel projection equipment.
The requirements deal with pipettes which are uncalibrated and intend for the transfer and dispensing of drops of solutions, and suspensions of biological materials. Two sizes are specified, details of which are given in a table, and the general form is illustrated in a figure. The resistance to sterilization by exposure to dry heat or to saturated steam is specified.

Specifies the test method to be used in laboratories for assessing the air permeability of non-opening joints between components in the exterior walls of buildings, whether the joints have been subjected to prior ageing or not.
