Alpine skis — Determination of the elastic properties
Specifies laboratory measurement methods to determine the elastic properties of alpine skis. Its purpose is to calculate the resistance of defined parts of the ski to bending and torsion.
An international acceptable series of cylinders with a graduated scale and either a pouring spot or a stopper is specified. They are suitable for general laboratory purposes. The requirements for adjustment, accuracy, construction of the cylinder with design, material and dimensions are given. Graduation, figuring and inscriptions are specified and illustrated by drawings.
1. Scope
1.1 This Standard pertains to temperature-raising water baths used in
biomedical laboratories.
1.2 This Standard includes construction, performance, and disclosure
requirements for water baths.
Methods of measurement for radio transmitters. Part 7: Cabinet radiation at frequencies above 1 GHz
Specifies the method which is essentially the same as that described in CISPR publication 11, sub-clause 5.2.2. With this method, emphasis has been laid on simplicity and reproducibility, rather than on rigorous scientific method. lt has been purposely developed for use in an ordinary laboratory room to avoid the use of an expensive anechoic room. The method is intended for type tests but it may…
Road vehicles — Measurement of impact velocity in collision tests
Specifies the accuracy of measurement of the impact velocity. Describes in the annex some typical methods suitable for the measurement. These methods are intended to facilitate the comparison of data obtained in similar tests by different laboratories. Other methods may be used provided they meet the requirements of 2.1 and 2.2.
