Cranes — Proof of competence of steel structures — Part 1: General
ISO 20332-1:2008 sets forth general conditions, requirements, methods and parameter values for performing proof-of-competence determinations of the steel structures of cranes based upon the limit state method. It is intended to be used together with the loads and load combinations of the applicable parts of ISO 8686.
ISO 20332-1:2008 is general and covers cranes of all types. Other International…
Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Evaluation criteria for IT security — P...
This document establishes the general concepts and principles of IT security evaluation and specifies the general model of evaluation given by various parts of the standard which in its entirety is meant to be used as the basis for evaluation of security properties of IT products.
This document provides an overview of all parts of the ISO/IEC 15408 series. It describes the various parts of the…
Plastics — Guidelines for the recovery and recycling of plastics waste — Part 5: Organic/biological ...
This document establishes the terms, definitions, methodologies, and calculations that are necessary for the recovery of waste from plastic products and materials labelled as industrially compostable (hereafter referred to as compostable plastic waste) through organic recycling. The document identifies the different types of organic recycling technologies used in the recovery and subsequent…
Health informatics — Terminological resources — Part 1: Characteristics
ISO 17117-1:2018 defines universal and specialized characteristics of health terminological resources that make them fit for the purposes required of various applications. It refers only to terminological resources that are primarily designed to be used for clinical concept representation or to those parts of other terminological resources designed to be used for clinical concept representation.…
Calibration and quality control in the use of radionuclide calibrators
This International Standard specifies the techniques for calibration and usage of pressurised, well-type ionisation chambers for the assay of radionuclides. Such instruments are used to determine the activity, expressed in becquerel (Bq), of photon and some medium to high-energy beta emitting radionuclides.
This document provides the methods and tests for establishing and maintaining acceptable…

1. Principal method
This draft specifies the principal method for laser shearography NDE inspection of FRP composites. Here, out-of-plane surface displacement gradients are monitored, using coaxial illumination and observation, both effectively perpendicular to the part surface. Defect detection relies on local influences on the global surface deformation from sub-surface anomalies under the…
Building construction machinery and equipment — Portable, hand-held, internal combustion engine-driv...
This International Standard specifies safety requirements, and measures for their verification, for the design and construction of portable, hand-held, internal combustion engine-driven machines for abrasive chains, intended to be used by a single operator in the cutting of construction materials, such as concrete, stone and metal. It is applicable only to those machines designed purposely for…
