Petroleum products and lubricants — Method of classification — Definition of classes
Establishes the general classification system which applies to petroleum products, lubricants and related products; defines the classes of these products together with their designation. The rules of this classification system to apply to each class of product concerned will be specified in the relevant International Standard.
Specifies the characteristics of products with metric dimensions and nominal diameters from 6 mm up to and including 50 mm; tabulates thread sizes M 6 up to M 50 with nominal lengths from 16 mm up to 200 mm and specifications with reference to International Standards; gives an example for the designation.
Specifies the characteristics of products with metric dimensions and nominal diameters from 5 mm up to and including 50 mm; tabulates thread sizes M 5 up to M 50 with nominal lengths from 40 mm up to 400 mm and specifications with reference to International Standards; gives an example for the designation.
Specifies the characteristics of products according to ISO 2340 and ISO 2341; includes nominal sizes from 3 mm up to and including 100 mm as well as specifications with reference to International Standards; gives an example for the designation.
Shall be used in conjunction with detail specifications concerning each pump model. Includes functional requirements, quality assurance provisions, qualification tests, acceptance tests, storage and packaging. A schematic summary is provided in the annex for easy reference to the contents of this International Standard.
Documentation — International Standard Recording Code (ISRC)
Is intended to define and promote the use of a standard code (ISRC) for the unique identification of recordings or parts of a recording. Guidelines for the use of the ISRC are given in the annex. The ISRC has been prepared to provide a means of identifying audio, video or audio-video recordings internationally. It is not to be used for the numbering of audio, vidio or audio-video carriers.
