Intended to provide accepted definitions for a number of terms used in dentistry that could prove useful for the comprehension of documents and to improve communication. It defines 89 terms associated with testing. Together with the other four parts it constitutes a technical revision of the first edition of this standard.

This first edition as an International Standard constitues a technical revision of ISO Recommendation R 657-2:1968. ISO 657 consists of 21 parts integrating any shapes of sections. ISO 657-2 specifies dimensions of hot-rolled unequal-leg angles.

Gives a rapid comparison of standardized methods and therefore provides information for the choice of the method. The other parts of ISO 6326 describe in detail the various standardized methods. Tabulates methods for the determination of sulfur components in natural gas.

Specifies a method for testing the fatigue strength and performance of thermoplastic valves incorporated in a valve assembly with its obturator mechanism under pressure. Repeated opening and closing shall be performed for as many cycles and using the torque as specified by the particular product standard.

Gives standard test methods for germanium detectors primarily used for the detection and high-resolution spectroscopy of gamma radiation. This publication supersedes IEC 60430 (1973), 60656 (1979) and 60697 (1981).

Specifies testing and disclosure methods of functional performance of electron accelerators within the 1 MeV to 50 MeV range used for therapy in human and animal medicine. Test procedures to be performed by the manufacturer are also specified. It is recommended to use this standard in conjunction with IEC 60977 and 60601-2-1 which give further guidance on these issues.
