Method of Test for Compressive Strength of Masonry Prisms
1. Scope
1.1 General This Standard covers procedures for the making, curing, and testing in compression of masonry prisms primarily during the preconstruction phase of masonry construction.
1.1
Applies to equipment intended to be electrically connected to a
telecommunication network and receives its power from the telecommunication
network alone, or from an ac or dc source, or from any combination thereof.
The network has a normal operating voltage to ground of less than 150 V rms and
the equipment is designed to be operated in nonhazardous locations in
accordance with the…
1.1 Applies to low pressure and to combination low pressure/pressureless
compartment steam cookers. The cookers are heated by direct steam or gas or by
electric or steam coil steam generators. The compartment steam pressure shall
not exceed 100 kPa. The steam cookers are intended to be used by food
services.
1.2 This standard does not cover steam cooking equipment used by food…

Institute standard ANSI/BHMA A156.11-1985.
1.1 This standard establishes requirements for Cabinet Locks used on doors,
drawers and furniture. Cycle tests, operational tests, strength tests and
finish tests are included.
1.2 Tests described in this Standard are performed under laboratory
conditions. In…

1.1 This Standard establishes requirements for Sliding and Folding Door
Hardware. Cycle tests, static load, static friction, kinetic friction and
finish tests are included. Hardware for light to very heavy doors is covered
including both residential and industrial…
Stitches and Seams Part 1: Textiles - Stitch Types - Classification and
Terminology
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International
Standard ISO 4915-1981. It classifies, designates, describes and
illustrates the various kinds of stitch types used in hand- and
machine-sewn seams.
Stitches and Seams Part 2: Textiles - Seam Types - Classification and
Terminology
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO
4916-1982.
1 Scope and field of application
This International Standard classifies, illustrates and designates the various
kinds of stitched seams. It is not intended to be fully comprehensive but to
illustrate a number of the most used seam types. It is applicable to seams
used most particularly in the…

Institute standard ANSI/BHMA A156.12-1986.
1.1 This Standard establishes the requirements for Interconnected Locks and
includes operational tests, security tests, cycle tests, finish tests and
dimensional criteria.
1.2 Tests described in this Standard are performed under laboratory
conditions. In actual…
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to American
National Standards Institute standard ANSI/BHMA A156.17-1987. It
establishes requirements for Self Closing Hinges & Pivots. Cycle
tests, operational tests, finish tests, and material and
dimensional requirements are included.
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to American
National Standards Institute standard ANSI/BHMA A156.18-1984. It
establishes code numbers for finishes on various basis materials.
It includes criteria for viewing comparative finishes in the
field to determine whether they match and establishes five
categories of finishes.
