1.1 This standard states requirements for a general-purpose cleaning powder
compound consisting of a mixture of phosphates, sodium carbonate and
surface-active agent.

This standard applies to two types and four classes of faced and unfaced
inorganic fibrous thermal insulation boards for application on surfaces with a
temperature up to 650 degrees C. Insulation boards may include a surface
covering that forms an integral part of the insulation.
This standard is composed of eleven test methods which can be used to determine
relevant properties of weather stripping. The test methods are applicable to
both indoor and outdoor weather strip products.
