Flanges for waveguides. Part 2: Relevant specifications for flanges for ordinary rectangular wavegui...
Containes a detailed description o f flanges for ordinary
rectangular waveguides - Type A, B, C, D, E, including mechanical
requirements and electrical tests, as well as tables and drawings.
The contents of the corrigendum of November 1981 have been included in this copy.
Plastics — Unsaturated polyesters and epoxide resins — Determination of total chlorine content
Specification of two methods for the determination of chlorine: Oxidation of the test portion with sodium peroxide (method A) in a Parr bomb or with gaseous oxygen (method B) in a flask, followed by electrometric or volumetric titration of the resulting chlorides. Blank tests shall be carried out by using the same quanities of reagents as in the determination.
Steel — Macrographic examination by sulfur print (Baumann method)
The Baumann method uses contact printing using silver salts and sulphuric acid. It is applicable to non-alloy and alloy steels and to cast irons of which the sulphur content is less than 0.1 %. Specifies general, principle, products and reagents, test pieces, procedure and test report.
Sodium hydroxide for industrial use — Determination of mercury content — Dithizone photometric metho...
Covers a method applicable to liquid or solid products having mercury contents greater than 0,05 mg/kg. The principle of determination is based on oxidation of the mercury contained in a test portion to mercury(II) ions by potassium permanganate in the presence of sulphuric acid, reduction of the excess oxidant, extraction in chloroform of the complex formed, and photometric measurement of the…
Sodium hydroxide for industrial use — Determination of mercury content — Flameless atomic absorption...
Covers a method applicable to liquid or solid products having mercury contents greater than 0,02 mg/kg. The principle of determination is based on oxidation of the mercury contained in a test portion to mercury(II) ions by potassium permanganate in the presence of sulphuric acid, reduction of the excess oxidant by hydroxylammonium chloride, reduction of the mercury(II) ions to mercury by tin(II)…
Sodium sulphate for industrial use — Determination of calcium content — Flame atomic absorption spec...
Specifies a method, the principle of which is based on acidification of a test portion with hydrochlorid acid, aspiration of the test solution into an acetylene-dinitrogen monoxide or acetylene-air-flame, and measurement of the absorption of the 422,7 nm line emitted by a calcium hollow-cathode lamp.
