Glucose syrup — Determination of dry matter content — Refractive index method
Determination on an undiluted product, at a specified temperature; calculation of the wanted content by means of tables showing the index as a function of composition, concentration and temperature. The method is also applicable to syrup containing fructose.

Acetone for industrial use — Methods of test — Part 1: General
Gives general instruction and specifies the methods for the determination of density at 20 °C, the determination of dry residue after evaporation on a water bath, the measurement of colour, the determination of distillation range and the determination of water content. International Standards ISO 757/1 to ISO 757/5 cancel and replace ISO Recommendation R 757-1968, of which they constitute a…
Fruit and vegetable products — Determination of dry matter content by drying under reduced pressure ...
The method of determination of dry matter content consists in heating to constant mass, after mixing, of liquid or semi-liquid products spread over an absobent surface, or of pasty products mixed with an inert powder, at 70 °C under reduced pressure. The method of determin of water content consists in entraining of the water in the form of vapour by a volatile solvent immiscible with water,…
Fruit and vegetable products — Determination of mineral impurities content
The method consists in separating of organic matter by flotation and of heavy impurities by sedimentation, incineration of the sediment at approximately 600 °C, and weihing of the residue obtained. It cancels and replaces ISO Recommendation R 762-1968, of which it constitutes a technical revision.
Guide on maintainability of equipment. Part 1 - Sections One, Two and Three. Introduction, requireme...
Describes the concept of maintainability, defines the general approach and gives the objectives of maintainability. Gives the maintainability requirements for specifications and contracts and describes the contents of maintainability programmes.
Sections 1 and 3 are replaced by IEC 60300-3-10 (2000).
Aromatic hydrocarbons — Determination of sulphur content — Pitt-Ruprecht reduction and spectrophotom...
Relates to products boiling below 200 °C. Directly applicable to contents of 0.1 mg/kg to 30 mg/kg. Higher contents may be determined by a suitable dilution of the sample. Alkylsulphones, arylsulphonic acids and arylsulphonates give incomplete recovery of sulphur. Reduction of the sulphur compounds to nickel sulphide with Raney nickel. Stripping of the hydrogen sulphide in hydrochloric acid…
