Loading and strength of overhead transmission lines
Applies to overhead lines of nominal voltage above 45 kV. It may
also be applied to lines with a lower nominal voltage.
The purpose of this report is to propose relationships between
loads imposed on transmission lines and the strengths of
transmission lines components in order to obtain safe and
economical designs.
Has the status of a technical report.

Aerial devices with insulating boom used for live working
Applies to aerial devices (mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP)), with or without the possibility of an additional jib, as a minimum with an insulating upper boom (extending structure) used for live working on the rated voltage, which is between 1 kW r.m.s. and 800 kV r.m.s., at power frequency. The contents of the corrigendum of July 1999 have been included in this copy.
