Covers floor and trench drains that are used inside of, or outside and adjacent to building structures. It includes requirements for materials, minimum grate free areas and outlet connections, tests for top loading of grates and water tightness of backwater valves and identification markings.

Specifies the recommended procedure for the installation of asbestos-cement pipelines for both pressure and non-pressure installations. Covers the types of laying conditions most commonly encountered in practice. Describes handling and storage, stringing out, lowering, laying, jointing and anchorages of the pipes as well as excavation and preparation of the trench and house service connections.

Specifies requirements for fittings for threaded connections, used mainly for industrial purposes. Table 1 contains diagrams ot types of fittings and their symbols. Tabulates the fitting dimensions (tables 2 to 10) with nominal sizes from DN 6 up to and including DN 80 (thread designation 1/8 to 3).

Specification of the series of diameters to be used and the dimensions, which are common to all types of PVC- and metal adaptor fittings for pipes under pressure, to achieve connection to existing metal pipes, fittings and valves.

1. Scope 1.1 This Standard provides information applicable to most of the commonly used electrical and electronics diagrams. It includes detailed recommendations on preferred practices for use in the preparation of schematic diagrams, connection diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and terminal diagrams.
