Fresh concrete — Determination of the consistency — Vebe test
Specifies a method for determining the consistency of fresh concrete by means of the Vebe test. The method is considered particularly useful for concrete with low workability. It is not suitable for concrete with a maximum size of aggregate greater than 40 mm. Describes apparatus, procedure, expression of results, and test report.
Fresh concrete — Determination of consistency — Degree of compactibility (Compaction index)
Specifies a method for the determination of the consistency of fresh concrete by evaluating the degree of compactibility. The method is considered applicable to concrete of every consistency except very fluid concrete. It is not applicable to concrete having a maximum aggregate size exceeding 40 mm.
Plastics — Unsaturated polyesters and epoxide resins — Determination of total chlorine content
Specification of two methods for the determination of chlorine: Oxidation of the test portion with sodium peroxide (method A) in a Parr bomb or with gaseous oxygen (method B) in a flask, followed by electrometric or volumetric titration of the resulting chlorides. Blank tests shall be carried out by using the same quanities of reagents as in the determination.
