Water flow measurement in open channels using weirs and Venturi flumes — Part 1: Thin-plate weirs
Specifies methods for the measurement of water flow in open channels using rectangular and triangular-notch (V-notch) thin-plate weirs. The flow conditions considered are limited to steady, free and fully ventilated discharge. Recommended discharge coefficients are applicable to water only in the approximate range of temperatures from 5 to 30 °C.
Tea — Preparation of liquor for use in sensory tests
The method consists in extracting of soluble substances in dried tea leaf, containing in a porcelain or earthenware pot, by means of freshly boiling water, pouring of the liquor into a white porcelain or earthenware bowl, examination of the organoleptic properties of the infused leaf, and of the liquor with or without milk or both.
Specifies a method for the measurement of the temperature of the crystallizing point to the nearest 0.01 °C. Relates to a test portion saturated with water. Application of a correction to determine this point for the anhydrous material. Defines the requirements which must be fulfilled by the thermometer and describes the procedure for checking the thermometer. The arrangement of a crystallizing…
Tyre valve threads — Part 3: Threads 8V2, 10V1, 11V1, 13V2, 15V1, 16V1, 17V1, 17V2, 17V3, 19V1, 20V1
Specifies limit dimensions and tolerances for tyre valve threads. The designation of valve threads shall be as given in table 1. The profile is shown in the figure together with the nut and screw diameters. Threads 8V2, 11V1, 13V2, 16V1, 17V2, 17V3, 19V1, should be verified according ANSI B1.2. Threads 10V1, 15V1, 17V1, and 20V1, should be verified according to tolerances extracted from ISO 1502.
