This standard applies to opaque prefabricated markings precoated with a pressure-activated adhesive for use as permanent markings on exterior surfaces when large or difficult-to-handle markings are required. The marking is positionable without showing preadhesion and is pressure-sensitive only when activated by firm pressure at the time of application.
