Rubber, vulcanized — Determination of static adhesion to textile cord — H-pull test
Specifies principle, materials, apparatus, test piece, time-interval between vulcanization and testing, conditioning of the test piece, test temperature and procedure of the subject mentioned. An annex refers to the preparation of silicone-rubber-faced bars and contains several figures.
Rubber, vulcanized — Determination of temperature rise and resistance to fatigue in flexometer testi...
Gives directions for carrying out measurements which make possible predictions regarding the durability of rubbers in finished articles, e.g. tyres, bearings, V-belts etc. Due to the wide variations in service conditions, no simple correlation between accelerated tests and service performance can be assumed. - Part 2 of this standard: rotary flexometer, part 3: compression flexometer.
Rubber, vulcanized — Determination of temperature rise and resistance to fatigue in flexometer testi...
Cylindrical test piece is compressed axially to a predetermined stress or strain between two chucks mounted on shafts. By displacing the shafts the eccentricity produces a flexing of the rotating test piece which entails rise in temperature. This rise is measured in the centre. The fatigue life is also determined. - ISO 4666 part 1 refers to basic principles, part 3 to the compression flexometer.
Amendment 1 of ISO 1651/1974 concerns cover page and pages 1, 2 and 3. Modify the general title as follows: "Hardmetal (carbide) core tube drawing plugs - Dimensions". On page 1, clause 1, replace the first and second sentences by new ones. Pages 2 and 3: modify each title (clauses 2 and 3) in accordance with the titles given in this amendment.
Metallic and oxide coatings — Measurement of coating thickness — Microscopical method
This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (i. e. ISO 1463:1973). Applies to the measurement of the local thickness of metallic coatings, oxide layers, and porcelain or vitreous enamel coatins, by using an optical microscope. The method is capable of giving an absolute measuring accuracy of 0,8 /u, this will determine the suitability of the method for measuring the thickness of…
Defines dimensions, characteristics and acceptance tests for asbestos-cement pipes and jointing pieces used in building, such as rainwater, sanitary and sewer connections, and establishes rules for sampling, inspection and acceptance of such products.
Aggregates for concrete — Determination of bulk density
Specifies a method for the determination of the bulk density of dry or moist aggregates (normal or lightweight) for concrete in either loose or compacted condition. Describes apparatus, sampling, determination of uncompacted and compacted bulk density, expression of results, and test report.
