1.1 These requirements cover heat-actuated, single and multiple station heat alarms intended for indoor and unconditioned space installation as recommended in the end product installation instructions. These requirements cover heat-actuated, single and multiple station heat alarms intended for indoor and unconditioned space installation as recommended in the end product installation instructions and in accordance with the following: a) National Building Code of Canada, and b) National Fire Code of Canada 1.2 These requirements do not cover electrically operated single or multiple station smoke or heat alarms.
