CSA G-52
This Technical Information Letter (TIL.) has been prepared to offer an alternative path to calculate energy factor (EF) and per cycle electrical energy (ET) for household clothes dryers if manufacturers choose to use the new US DOE test procedure (10 CFR Part 430 Subpart B Appendix D1) instead of CAN/CSA C361-92. Manufacturers have the option of using either the test procedure contained within the CAN/CSA C361-92 or Appendix D1 with an alternative path to calculate EF and ET.
