Interim Certification Requirements for Self Ballasted Tubular LED (TLED) Type A Lamps

This Technical Information Letter (or TIL) shall be used in conjunction with CSA Standard C22.2 No 1993-12, and contains construction, marking and test requirements for Type A Tubular Light-Emitting Diode (TLED) devices that have the general appearance, length and base types of a conventional fluorescent lamp, and are intended to directly replace a fluorescent lamp that complies with ANSI NEMA ANSLG C78.81 and NEMA C78.901 without additional modifications to the lamp, lampholder and ballast circuits.
