Composants contenant des frigorigènes pour utilisation dans les équipements électriques
Porté:
1.1
This Standard applies to refrigerant-containing components that are intended to be used in field- installed refrigerating and/or air-conditioning systems in accordance with CSA B52 and that are charged with the refrigerant identified for use in the components. These components are intended for use in equipment designed to be installed and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CE Code).
1.2
This Standard applies to refrigerant-containing components that are intended for use in factory- assembled refrigerating or air-conditioning equipment and that are also subject to the requirements in the standards applicable to the factory assembled equipment.
1.3
This Standard applies to refrigerant-containing components such as accumulators, condensers, evaporators, dryers, filters, heat exchangers, oil separators, liquid receivers, mufflers, liquid indicators, vibration eliminators, strainers, fusible plugs, and rupture members.
1.4
This Standard does not apply to
a) electric valves, electric refrigeration controllers, refrigerant motor-compressors; or
b) electrical components of assemblies incorporating these refrigerant-containing components or accessories.
1.5
This Standard does not apply to refrigerant-containing components that are within the scope of CSA B51, such as pressure vessels.
1.6
The values given in SI (metric) units are the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
