This Standard covers push-fit fittings intended for use with PVC pipe for irrigation systems, in sizes IPS-1/2 to IPS-2, and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings. Fittings covered by this Standard are intended for aboveground and buried applications. Note: In this Standard, push-fit fittings are referred to as "fittings".
