SCOPe 1.1 These requirements cover hose swivel connectors intended only for flammable and combustible liquid service excluding high aromatic or high alcohol content gasolines. 1.2 A hose swivel connector is intended for use with dispensing devices to facilitate handling of the hose nozzle valve and/or hose without subjecting the hose to twisting or torsional stress. 1.3 Requirements for the installation and use of equipment handling flammable and combustible liquids may be included in the National Fire Code of Canada and the regulations of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
